Just thought I'd let you know that we had to put Ferg down yesterday18,12,2012!  It was very sudden, he was fine on Monday (his birthday) and we went for a couple of walks around the lake; then he started to fit yesterday.  We took him to the vets who think it was a blood clot in his spine or brain :(.  He didnt suffer and it was all very quick, the kids are really upset as he has always been there as long as they can remember.

 these were taken  around wales since I was diagnosed with cancer over the past few weeks I have been  housebound only shots I can get now is from my front room of the  bird restaurant  and from my first floor bedroom.

Over the next few days I will be putting the wetland birds

 I get tired very easy and on hour on the computer is enough at a time,Dr Mc Vey came over today  told Pam how well I was copping  she is the one who is coping well not forgetting she still looks after her Dad as well,Dad was a ww2 Lancaster bomber  wireless operator did over 30 missions before being shot down they managed to get back to the airfield before crash landing  He was the only survivor and the last part of the war he spent in hospital with spinal injuries Dad is the one kneeling  left  ,

I went back to the steam museum today just to get another 3 photos the museum was open but again no electricity the workmen had also put dust covers over the outside of the windows, so it was even darker inside I tried taking photos with flash but the glass casing gave a reflection so only one or two shots came out half decent to keep,
the rest of the day was spent walking around Cairo down town part of the city where I came across quite a few different kinds of old machinery so you ladies will have to be happy with a boys toys blog today with a little bit of my other interest of buildings,

once on the website  click on he side panel, I am having a real bad day today but had a real nice day yesterday with my sister I am sure I slept half of the time.

This is and will most likely be e my last post Pam is taking my photos me and my cats look well don't i that depends on whether MY central heating is working or not sometimes I sweat profusely and will have a double change of pyjamas save the bed wear getting wet the  kittens have to keep out of my room at night as they tend to think on these  cold and frosty nights  I am their hot hot bottle And tend to cuddle up on the heat source  bowel and kidney , Sparkle loves her dad not being will  and sneaks in my my bed at all opportune  moments. they are such a comfort Sylvester is my night comfort H does not like being to hot  and just sleeps by my side

Pam brought me some Ice in yesterday it was formed by one of the glass jugs that stayed in the back yard overnight  these were  on their way to the charity shop,, the cat scratcher post is placed for the cats to bird watch over the front garden  I built this restaurant a few months ago after being diagnosed with cancer this is the warmest place in the house looks as if ice is still in the jug,

 early morning frost  `i would to get some mr frosty shots  but I am stuck indoors,

 vesty  telling me he needs some sleep.

another frosty night , over past 4 years I have made several blogs  most like some have been  stollen etc but her is a list of all my sites its now 6.30 and its taken a lot of concentration and energy   and i am nowhere near what i want to do so will have a few hours kip .depends on howI feel if I get back online today  my Sister and brother in law is coming all the way from Deganwy so I must put some effort in looking better than what I feel weekend My pall Andrew is coming to visit all the way from Littlehampton picking up  another couple of friends from Cambridge on the way  I have not seen Kath and Vince since I left to live in Egypt 1994 be nice to see them again I am sure its going to be quite a shock for them seeing their once 15stone pall at 9.5 stone.
