Figs, Miss Muffet and blue tits

The fig tree in the summer  house is completely leaf bare but has about50 figs  half of which will survive the winter and will get ripe in May/June,

While in the summer house that I have made into a hide to watch the birds in the back garden  this blue tit came in through the open glass door

It did not panic as one may think a trapped bird would do on seeing A human in such close proximity.  so I took a couple of shots   then I sat down and waited for it to finish cleaning what grubs it found on the fig tree,it was  on the tree for about 5 minutes before it flew out  on the feeder.

Chaffinch and Dunnock in the front garden, there was three male chaffinch in back the garden ,

Female blackbird  feeding on the apples

Then this little fellow  decided to do a miss muffet
and sat on the pillow beside me while taking snaps of the birds.

Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey,
Along came a spider,
Who sat down beside her,
And frightened Miss Muffet away.
